Meet Dennis

I have been an award winning, professional photographer since 1992, offering any genre (senior/grad, family, engagement, boudoir/intimate, personal branding, and wedding portraiture, and event, sporting, and entertainment photography) of legacy and business portraiture.

Since my return to California from the Pacific Northwest in 2010, my team and I have shifted our business model; now offering our unique image style and one-of-a-kind "Experience Sessions" available to families and individuals in every socio-economic range.

"The intent of my work has always been to capture a moment in time that will be remembered cherished for generations. We definitely have our "WOW" images in every clients' collection, but the true value of our work is not the trendy "Heathcliff on the moors" image that was originally photographed in a cold, impersonal studio. Our brand is centered around images that capture a moment in time; having found and that view no one else sees. So when the images are viewed 10, 20, 50 years from now, that moment will flash back to the client, as if it were yesterday".

...a few things about me

~ I am the oldest of four brothers. My mother is the strongest woman I've ever known.
~ I am a voracious reader. I began pleasure reading when I was 12, The first book I ever read...The Hobbit, by JRR Tolkien.
~ I grew up on THE best street in America. (2200 block of Douglas Road, in Stockton, California).
~ I played varsity basketball in high school, but baseball has always been the game that moved me.
~ I am a lifelong San Francisco Giants fan.
~ I have two sons. Jack Daniels and Jose Cuervo, rescue chihuahuas. Best boys I've ever known. Most loyal dogs ever placed on Earth.
~ Before I was a professional photographer I was a concert stage/production manager for Bill Graham Presents. When I left that industry, I began designing and co-ordinating weddings, for thirteen years.
~ Photography and writing are my last great passion. I am so honored when someone allows me to create meaningful images of and for them that capture a special moment in their life. When I do not have a camera in my hand, I am currently working on two books: a memoir and a novel.
